Yes. I think ALSscan should have several different types of speculums, just for variation, or maybe to let the girls try out a few of them. I love the speculums that ALSscan use today, but it would be fun, and it really would not change the format at all, to see different speculums being used. Sullivan, Guttman, Trelat; there is a stainless steel jungle out there, each of them having their merits. And if this means a few extra speculum scenes now and then, I would not mind that either.

As you are on to, the use of speculums may have been in more regular use during the early years, as almost every model seems to have given it a go. Still I have to say that ALSscan is turning out speculum scenes that is better than ever, as in the case of Emma Starletto.
So, yes, for every new ALSscan girl I hope for (at least) one speculum scene (and in this I REALLY appreciate the ALSscan policy of insisting on women being all shaved and always having a certain cervical focus, but always respecting any models wish not to do any toy in particular). May there be many more! And iIf ALSscan had more than one speculum type at hand, this might make for all the more fun.

Yeah, in a photoshoot it would work just like when they use two different toys now. So Emma in this scene uses the speculum first and then latter uses the "swell guy". She could have used two different speculums. I'm sure if they did use two speculums, there would be some interesting talk about it in the BTS video.

The advantage is that when you use it sideways, you can see Cervix and Peehole at the same time.
Guttman speclumu is good, but usually it seems too big, therefore, it seems that it is not used much.

Hey, a thread about speculums. That's a great topic for us fans of wide open pussies which should be many of us here on ALS.

I want to say first that I love this speculum that Emma is using. There are three things that make it really cool. First, it has that big beefy rectangular frame which gives it a substantial look that says this is a serious tool for stretching a pussy open. Second, the blades are wide so that we get a great big gape both up/down and also side/side. And third, the frame is much wider than the blades so that lots of light gets up inside which also allows us to see the cervix even from a little bit off to the side.

Because of all this, this speculum gives excellent full body shots where we can see the cervix clearly. With Emma we get three such shots in landscape. In #168, we are looking straight in her pussy. But in #169 and #170, although the camera has moved a bit to the left, we still get a great view of her cervix. Those two shots also have a good balance with the light so that both Emma's face and her cervix are properly exposed and in sharp focus. It's a wonderful speculum.

So I looked up "Sullivan" and it seems to be a C-arm speculum that is open on one side with the C-arm frame well back from the blades. Those are both great features. So I'd say that the only issue is how wide the blades are. If I understand the lingo, the wider blade speculums are called "Graves". So Emma is using a "fullview Graves". If ALS was to get a C-arm speculum, they should get a "Sullivan Graves".

I say go for it. ALS has a wonderful collection of glass dildos. Maybe it is time to build out that collection of speculums too. And a final thought: the site I was looking at suggested that the Sullivan was ideal to use with a Lateral Vaginal Retractor. Here in ALS land, we know that by the much nicer name of "purple spreaders". I'm already imagining the fantastic gapes we can get by stretching a pussy with a C-arm speculum and the purple spreaders at the same time.

Yes! In what HaydenLove writes, there is a great idea: In my mind ALSscan, as a site with a distinct focus on all shaved, female beauty, can make good use of a whole arsenal of different specula. A woman, Initially adding to her nudity by being all shaved, then exposing herself completely with a speculum, is something I think I never will get tired of. I hope ALSscan never stop using the metal speculum they are currently using. But why not change it up with having more than one type of speculum at hand? You then could let a girl try different specula (each able to open up and visualize a vagina in slightly different ways) from scene to scene (and if you ask me, I would LOVE to see the same girl do more than one speculum scene). Introducing a variety of different specula could be a perfect way to add something new to the already brilliant ALSscan use of speculums in an erotic setting, all still within the original ALSscan concept.

Oh, the ALS crew will certainly read this. They read all the comments. The only problem might be that since they are currently busy with shooting in Europe, this thread might get forgotten by the time they are back to normal at home and ready to think about things like new toys.

In a recent BTS video, Alex says that he lies awake at night thinking about what kind of toys can spread pussies. And he is certainly interested in hearing suggestions from members. So if we tell him that we really want to see ALS use this speculum, he will seriously think about getting one.

I think I'll put up another comment in September to remind them to consider this. (Also, your translation is fine--no problems understanding what you mean.)
